How do I book a QUICS service?
To book and use QUICS services, you need an Academic Cloud account — an Academic ID. The Academic Cloud is a platform offering services for research institutions. In the QUICS project, access is also open to companies and individuals.
When you click "Book" on a service, you are automatically redirected to the Academic Cloud sign-in page. If you don't have an account yet, you can register.
Federated sign-in
If you work at a German university or research institution, in many cases you can sign in to the Academic Cloud with your home credentials. Click Federated sign-in, search for your institution in the dropdown and select it.
Create a new Academic ID
If federated sign-in is not possible, choose Register, enter your email address, click "Sign up with mail and password", fill in the form and confirm your email via the link sent to you.
